Journey throughout forbidden lands to lay your love to rest.
Grimbane was a senior student project that aimed to imitate the environment of a real game studio. Our team designed a game with a much larger scope than was possible in the semester's time given, but we are all proud of the work achieved, nonetheless. Grimbane can be viewed as a demo for a more ambitious project.

Inspiration was taken from games like Bloodborne and Blasphemous for both design and thematic elements. The game demo is a metroidvania set in an original world and features a redesigned combat flow for the genre.

I acted in a project manager and lead designer capacity for this game, where I was able to gain valuable insight into the full demands that a game offers when going from nothing to a final product. I also assisted in the programming (save system and map system) and artwork for our game.
