This is the pitch for a potential webcomic or graphic novel. This comic is an expressive and dark adult series in a low-fantasy world. It will make use of an evocative and distinct art style that aligns with the grim mood the series holds. This is a story that will appeal to fans of dark and gothic fantasy, as well as unorthodox magic systems.
The adjoining pitch also includes a vignette script that takes place near the beginning of the story. I chose the specific scene played out as an exercise in writing tonally serious dialogue and accompanying atmosphere. While the script was a student project intended for the comic format, the characters and dialogue work still helped improve my skills that can be carried into the game design space.
